How do you upload a Word petition to UYAP?
UYAP is Türkiye’s National Judiciary Informatics System, the electronic platform through which petitions are filed with the Turkish courts. The UYAP Lawyer Portal (Avukat Portal) and Citizen Portal (Vatandaş Portal) accept petitions in .udf format, UYAP’s own document format. This tool reads a .docx file and carries paragraphs, bold, italic and underlined text, font size, alignment, indents, tabs, tables, images and the header and footer over to UDF. Check the resulting file with theUDF viewer before uploading it to UYAP.
Files in the old .doc format must first be saved in Word via “Save As → Word Document (.docx)”. Signing the file with an electronic signature is done in UYAP.
