PDF → UDF
Convert a PDF document into UDF. In PDFs that contain text, the text is transferred in editable form; in scanned PDFs each page is added as an image.
Two ways from PDF to UDF
UDF is the document format of UYAP, Türkiye’s National Judiciary Informatics System, through which documents are filed with the Turkish courts. A PDF can be turned into UDF in two ways:
As text: the text layer of the PDF is read and the paragraphs are transferred to UDF; the document can then be edited in the UYAP editor. Line breaks and simple formatting (bold, italic, size, centring) are preserved; complex page layouts and tables may turn into plain text.
As page images: each page is placed in the UDF as a picture, exactly as it is. This suits scanned documents, signed pages and annexes whose appearance must be preserved exactly. The “Automatic” option uses this method when the PDF contains no text.
