UDF and UYAP documents

UDF → PDF

Convert .udf documents downloaded from UYAP into PDF. You can drop several files at once; the conversion runs on your own computer.

What is a UDF file and how do you turn it into a PDF?

UDF is the document format of UYAP (Ulusal Yargı Ağı Bilişim Sistemi), Türkiye’s National Judiciary Informatics System, through which courts, lawyers and parties file and receive documents electronically. Court judgments, hearing minutes and petitions are usually downloaded from UYAP as .udf files, which normally open only in the UYAP Document Editor. This tool reads the UDF file and converts it into a PDF with the same page layout, typeface, bold and italic emphasis, tables, images and header and footer.

The conversion takes place entirely in your browser; your document is not sent to a server. Once you select a file, the PDF downloads automatically. To see the document without converting it, use the UDF viewer; to edit it, use the UDF editor.

The typeface in the PDF is Liberation Serif, which has exactly the same metrics as Times New Roman; line and page breaks may differ slightly from the UYAP editor. Electronic signature information is not carried over to the PDF; for official purposes the original in UYAP prevails.

Privacy: Conversion takes place entirely in your browser; your file is not sent to a server or stored anywhere. Check the output before uploading it to UYAP.
