In monetary claims, the judgment fee (karar ve ilam harcı) is 6.831% of the value of the claim; one quarter of it is paid in advance when the lawsuit is filed and the balance is collected once the judgment becomes final (Fees Law (HarçK) art. 28(a)). In non-monetary lawsuits, the judgment fee is a fixed amount (TRY 732.00).
The cost advance (gider avansı) covers service and postal costs: five times the service fee per party, plus TRY 530.00. Any unused portion is refunded once the judgment becomes final.
